Place: Durango Public Library (Wednesday) and Haviland Lake (Friday)
Time:  Wednesday (6:00pm-8:30pm), Friday (8:30am-3:30pm)

Cost: Free!  Includes a priceless manual of natural history and activities

Becoming a winter naturalist with Durango Nature Studies is one of our most popular activities.  Volunteers will be trained to teach winter ecology to grades 3 – 8 on snowshoes during the month of February.  You will meet a great bunch of people and get some great teaching experience.
