Following is a partial list of shows, activities, Durango events, and amenities associated with Purgatory/Durango Mountain Resort

SUMMER: Open Daily June 19 – August 23 and weekends/holiday through September 2009

  • Music in the Mountains – a three-week classical series featuring musicians from major symphony orchestras and chamber music programs held in a spectacular mountain setting.

  • Mountain Biking- Some of the planet’s best singletrack including the 1990 World Championship course.
  • San Juan Brewfest- Sample brew from throughout the region in this festive event
  • Durango Hiking Trails – Miles of trails in an alpine nirvana. Walk through the wildflowers in summer or take in natures glow as the Aspens turn gold come fall.
