Getting around Durango
From traditional means of transportation to those not quite as ordinary, getting around Durango, Colorado can be easy and fun. Ride the Animas River Trail on a rented retro cruiser bike or let a local do the pedaling while you explore downtown Durango by rickshaw. Cruise Main Avenue aboard the historic-style Durango Trolley or head out along the scenic San Juan Skyway. The San Juan National Forest covers thousands of acres and can be explored by Durango bike trails and hiking trails. If you are interested in a different pace, raft down the Animas River or boat around Vallecito Lake. There are endless ways to see the sights and Durango attractions.
