Agritourism

Farms, Food and Fun in the Southwest Corner of the Rockies

The Durango area provides the perfect venue for Colorado agritourism with 300+ days of sunshine, more restaurants per capita than San Francisco, and talented farmers and ranchers who work with famous chefs, from Darren McGrady (celebrity chef to England’s Royal Family) to Emeril Lagasse.  Agricultural tourism in Durango redefines dining in Colorado with exciting, delectable ways to enjoy fresh cuisine and meal preparation.

Durango farms offer an unforgettable agricultural tourism experience with scenic locations where vacation and agriculture meet.  Savor a meal fresh from the fields, surrounded by scenic rural vistas and taste the refreshing flavors of local craft breweries.  La Plata County was recently named “One of the Best Places to Live in Rural America” by The Progressive Farmer.  Find out more about why Durango is the ideal area for your agritourism vacation.

Blues on the Rails
