This unique cultural adventure will take you through Durango's unique and distinctive heritage to explore the remnants of some of the Southwest's first resident’s, the ancestral Puebloan culture. You will tour one of only 20 World Heritage sites in the U.S. with a full day, all-inclusive tour of Mesa Verde National Park, a major centers of Puebloan culture more than 800 years ago. In addition, you can also optionally enjoy an active archaeological dig at Crow Canyon Archeological Center or a back-country horseback ride to the Ute Mountain Tribal Park, home to some of the world's most undiscovered and untouched Puebloan ruins.

Day 2:
Your hand chosen guides, experts of Archaeology, Anthropology, and Geology, will pick you up at your hotel and take you out for a full-day tour of Mesa Verde National Park, home to some of the most notable and best-preserved archaeological sites in the United States.
Day 3:
Optionally, enjoy another historical gem with a trip aboard the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad and explore the scenic backcountry of the San Juan Mountains as well as get a glimpse into what life was like over 100 years ago as the first settlers came to the west with the Railroad in search of Gold, Silver and a new way of life!
