The Durango area offers a wide variety of campgrounds, from comfortable and convenient RV parks to rustic and secluded tent campgrounds.
The majority of campgrounds, for both RV and tent camping, can be found in three main areas:
- In Durango
- Near Vallecito Lake, 22 miles northeast of Durango
- In the San Juan National Forest
