Fifth-Annual Winter Photographer’s Special Train
Durango, CO –The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is offering its fifth-annual Winter Photographer’s Special on Sunday, February 22, 2009.
Rail fans and photographers will have the opportunity to capture rare photographs and footage of the train in the most pristine winter setting. On its way to Cascade Canyon, the train will stop for passengers to step off at numerous remote locations and photograph the train as it backs up and steams by.
The train is limited to 100 passengers to allow for the best views and photo opportunities. The train departs Durango at 8:00 a.m. and returns at dusk. Tickets are $109.00 per person for coach seating and $159.00 for caboose seating and include complimentary coffee and pastries in the morning. Lunch and snack items are available for purchase onboard the concession car.
