Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Offers Romance on the Rails for Valentine’s Day
Durango, CO –The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is offering train and dinner packages as a unique way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Passengers will enjoy an afternoon train ride to Cascade Canyon and have the option to have dinner and hear live music by Tim Guidotti at the Strater Hotel.
The train departs Durango Saturday, February 13 at 1:30 pm and returns at 6:30 pm. Packages available for this trip are Presidential, Deluxe and Standard-Class. The Presidential package (ages 21 and over) is $139* per person and includes train ride, onboard sweets, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, champagne with keepsake flute, dinner and live music at the Strater Hotel from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm. Deluxe-Class (ages 12 and over) is $119* per person, and includes the same amenities. Standard-Class Coach (all ages) is $64* per person and includes train ride, onboard sweets, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, and a champagne toast and keepsake flute.
Premium-Class passengers may choose from the Alamosa Parlor Car, the Cinco Animas, The Prospector Car or the San Juan Car. *All fares are subject to a 4% Historic Preservation Association Fee.
