In March 2010, Soaring® Tree Top Adventures was awarded Editor’s Pick of ‘Best Teambuilding Activity’ in the state of Colorado by Colorado Meetings and Events Magazine. 600+ planners and suppliers applauded the industry’s finest at the fourth annual Colorado Meetings + Events magazine Best Of Colorado awards celebration at The Denver Art Museum. In addition to the 21 Best Of categories, there are four Editor’s Pick awards, including Soaring’s.  These are chosen by the Colorado Meetings + Events editor to identify businesses that are offer something unique for the meetings and events industry.

This May 14, Soaring Tree Top Adventures, the largest, highest and safest zipline canopy tour course available, will once again grace the skies with guests whooping it up in the trees, having the adventure of a lifetime.  The all-day, family-friendly zip line tour allows children and grandparents alike--ages 5-91 have participated--to traverse across cables that make them feel like they are gliding through the air like birds from tree to tree, on a network of lacy stainless steel platforms nestled high in the Ponderosa canopy. Guests spend the day crossing through Aspen forests and mountain glens, over the crisp, frothy waters of the Animas River, on over a mile and a quarter of cable on zipline spans through spectacular scenery.

The canopy tour course offers 24 unique zip line spans ranging from 56 to 1400 feet and is designed for excitement that is safe and accessible to all ages, with the help of friendly Sky Rangers (guides). Soaring’s patented system is completely non-invasive to the old-growth Ponderosa pines it uses to suspend the lacey stainless steel platforms to the trees.  Eco-Tour guides also accompany the group to talk about the unique old-growth forest landscape.

In 2009, Soaring expanded its exemplary service to include first class train cars for a luxury guest travel, which has been a great success. Soaring attendants greet guests at the Tall Timber Legend train car, where “ticketless travel” and open car seating await.  In 2010, Soaring is expanding its ecology portion of the zipline adventures. Several Eco Tour guides will be available on the course interacting with guests and sharing information about the unique old growth forest environment and Soaring’s sustainable practices—this in between the adrenaline rush of ziplining through it.

Soaring offers its guests an opportunity to experience nature in a way few humans ever will.  The all-inclusive cost for the 5 ½ hour zipline excursion offered by Soaring® Tree Top Adventures, including all equipment, expert Sky Ranger guides, an Eco Tour specialists, a four-course gourmet lunch served on a special elevated platform in the trees with a view of the rushing waters of the Animas River, and First Class round-trip train this unique day of adventure is $429/pp.
