Ignacio, CO-- Fox Fire Farms will showcase the finest in local food and wine at their annual Farm dinner on June 26, 2010 at their La Plata County ranch. The five-course gourmet meal pairs local wines with each menu item. Chef Dave Cuntz from The Straighter Hotel, Chef Ryan Lowe from the Ore House, and Chef Linda Illsley from Cocina Linda’s have collaborated a magnificent meal using Fox Fire Farms meat, produce and truly free range eggs. Each dinner course is paired with Fox Fire Wines and Wines from Guy Drew Vineyards.
Tickets are $100 per person and are available for purchase at: The Wine Tasting Room at the Farm, Fox Fire Farms Booth at the Durango Farmers Market or online at www.foxfirefarms.com.
Dinner starts at 6pm on June 26, 2010. Business Casual Attire is welcomed; please note that the fest is in the pasture, so you might want to leave your high heels in the closet.

hors d'oeuvre: Wild Copper River Salmon and Halibut ceviche served over handmade corn tortillas
Starter entrée: Fox Fire Garden Fresh Greens with handmade dressing and fresh cheese from pastured Jersey Cow milk
First entrée: Fox Fire Beef tenderloin kebobs served with a special Cocina Linda Salsa
Main entrée: Masala Fox Fire Rack of Lamb served over roasted fingerling potatoes and garnished with fresh summer herbs and tomato jam
Dessert: Surprise dessert, served with Guy Drew Port and or Coffee
