Sharon Abshagen Featured Artist for First Thursday Art Walk

DURANGO, CO – Landscape painter and longtime artist at Sorrel Sky Gallery, Sharon Abshagen will present new work during July’s First Thursdays Art Walk. On July 5th, from 5-8 pm, Sharon will discuss her latest paintings at Sorrel Sky Gallery, 828 Main Ave.
 
A Signature Member of the Plein Air Painters of Colorado, Sharon recently won “Best of Show” from the Four Corners Commission and was featured on the cover of Sky West Magazine. Her dynamic images of familiar and much loved landscapes are well known and highly collected in the area.
 
Sharon is the second artist featured at Sorrel Sky Gallery for the First Thursdays Art Walks. McCarson Jones, Jim Bagley, and Tony Newlin will present new work later this year.
