Durango Painter Cynthia DeBolt to be at Sorrel Sky Gallery
DURANGO, CO – Sorrel Sky Gallery will host a reception with Durango painter Cynthia DeBolt for the First Thursday Art Walk on June 7th. DeBolt, who is known for her ethereal, reductionist landscapes, will present and discuss new work.
DeBolt has developed a significant following at Sorrel Sky Gallery. Her delicate landscapes are immediately calming and invoke a sense of peace. The First Thursday Art Walk will be her first solo reception at Sorrel Sky Gallery.
Beginning in June, eleven Durango galleries will stay open late, hosting receptions the first Thursday of every month. The events will allow locals and tourists alike the opportunity to experience Durango’s burgeoning art scene, meet and greet artists, and participate in fun after-hours events.
Sorrel Sky Gallery will host receptions with multiple local and regional artists, including Jim Bagley, Tony Newlin, and Sharon Abshagen. DeBolt will be at Sorrel Sky Gallery between 5-8 pm on June 7th. Sorrel Sky Gallery is located at 828 Main Ave.
