The 2024 Winter GOAL Program, Cultural Guards of Durango's Magical History, will occur the first Saturday of January, February and March. As cultural guards, we will continue creating a book of Illustrations from the stories of Durango's Forgotton Pioneers. Stories in order to preserve the historical significance of Durango. We will be visiting the Elks Lodge, in January, the Rochester Hotel in February, and the 1880's Durango High School Building in March. Students will enjoy learning illustrative drawing techniques, skills in ink drawing and colored inks used in illustrating and painting with gauche. Each month, you will also learn lessons on leadership by memorable seniors of Durango! Please Join Us, this is a program you don't want to miss! For questions, please email Deena Carney, Director of Art Education, at email@example.com. Scholarships Available! GOAL offers young people, ages 11 to 17, regardless of expression or identity, the opportunity to experience art, leadership and art-based opportunities.
