35th Durango Cowboy Poetry Gathering

Celebrating  their 35th year, the Durango Cowboy Poetry Gathering has been a major part of Durango’s western heritage and culture by bringing history to life through music, poetry, art and educational programs. Cowboy poets and musicians from all across the West gather in Durango to celebrate poems and songs that capture the spirit of the American West. The Gathering events will take place in various venues around Durango. Don't miss the genuine chuckwagon breakfast on Saturday, October 1st followed by the largest motorless parade in Colorado.
