"Dance, You Monster, to My Soft Song!" - FLC Jazz Ensemble

The FLC Jazz Ensemble will present its fall concert on Tuesday, November 28th, at 7:00pm in the Student Union Ballroom. The performance will feature Maria Schneider’s Dance You Monster to My Soft Song. This challenging work will highlight several student soloists as the band navigates this beautiful and haunting composition. The concert will also include Bob Curnow’s Badger Blues, Kris Berg’s Flew the Coop, Mark Taylor’s arrangement of the Duke Ellington classic Don’t Get Around Much Anymore, and Lili’s Song by Sgt. 1st Class Paul White of the United States Army’s premiere jazz ensemble, The Jazz Ambassadors!
