Life-Long Learning: Risk: When You Come to a Fork in the Road

  • Room 130, Noble Hall, 1000 Rim Dr, Durango, CO 81301

The Life-Long Learning Lecture Series at Fort Lewis College presents “Risk: When You Come to a Fork in the Road” on Thursday, April 16 at 7 p.m. This free presentation will be held in Room 130 of Noble Hall.

"We are not very good at making logical decisions in the face of uncertainty and risk. Retired engineer and adjunct FLC faculty member Chuck Carson will explore some of the tricks our minds play on us that contribute to miscalculations and errors in judgment. Identifying these may help us recognize them in ourselves and others."

Cosponsored by the Office of the President and the Professional Associates of Fort Lewis College, the Life-Long Learning Lecture series aims to enrich the intellectual life of the College and the community by offering free presentations on a wide variety of subjects. The Thursday evening programs are open to all.
