The Plein Air Painters of the Four Corners announces the first annual Juried Exhibit & Sale hosted from August 5 - 31 at Create Art and Tea located at 1015 Main Avenue in downtown Durango, Colorado. Plein Air artists representing Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Arizona gather regularly to paint outdoors – on location – at various National Parks, monuments, and scenic locations throughout the Four Corners region. The opening reception is set for Friday, August 5, 5 – 7 pm at Create Art and Tea. On Saturday, August 13, The Streets of Durango – a special downtown Durango paint-out – is set for public to enjoy watching artists at work in their outdoor element.
