Anyone from Durango knows that we live in a town that celebrates the food! Our Chefs and restaurant owners work tirelessly to provide our town with an exceptional variety and caliber of dining options.
The Taste of Durango is produced, managed, and coordinated by the very people bringing you this experience on a daily basis: Durango’s Chapter of the Colorado Restaurant Association.
The event benefits local non-profit organizations each year garnering over $12,000. To apply to become a beneficiary click here.
In 2020, Durango’s CRA will also be working with the Durango Business Improvement District and the Durango Police Department to make the event a success and to support additional non-profits.

How much is it to get in at the gate? |

How many tickets should I get? |
Food items range from 3 to 7 tickets, desserts are about 3 to 5 tickets. All beverages are between 4 to 8 tickets. So, about 20 tickets per person will be plenty for a great time. |
Where are the gates? |
You can get into the festival at the south side of 7th & Main, on the north side of 11th & Main, on the West side of Main at 8th & Main, and on the East side of 9th & Main |
How may I get a map to see where booths are to visit my favorite restaurants? |
Maps are available the day of the event via posters at each gate as well as smaller hand-held versions for people to walk around with. |
Streets close to all normal traffic. Barriers and Barricades go up from on Main between College and 11th. |

Restaurants are able to deliver equipment and materials to booth spots. Traffic will be open only to restaurants and vendors who have received their access card at the planning meeting. Carry this to be allowed into the gates. Traffic moves one way (northbound only) – enter at College or on the East side of Main and exit at 10th or on the East side of Main. |

Representative Check-in – All Participating restaurants must have a representative check-in at the Taste of Durango Equipment Tent at the corner of 7th & Main by 8:00am |
Before 8am |
All motor vehicle traffic is final. No other cars will be allowed into gates. All vehicles within gates must vacate by 9:45. The City will write citations at 10:00 am. |
