Holiday Station is a celebration that takes place every holiday season throughout La Plata County. It was created in 2022 by the City of Durango and Visit Durango to showcase the local community, its many cultures, and the festivities that bring joy to the Animas Valley. All celebrations are welcome. Find love, laughter, community, serene solitude, and adventure at Durango’s Holiday Station.

Holiday Station is a Durango, Colorado celebration taking place throughout the holiday season. It is a local community-driven event that showcases the many festivals, cultures, and activities that make the holidays in Durango so magical.
Holiday Station kicks off with the Polar Express Train’s first season trip on Friday, November 18, and concludes on New Year’s Day.
Holiday Station will take place throughout La Plata County with most festivities within Durango city limits. There will be events happening in downtown Durango, Ignacio, Bayfield, Purgatory Resort, and on our beautiful local trail systems.
