Guest itineraries are stored temporarily. Login or Register to be able to save your itinerary.
Ever wonder what the birds are saying? The vast and complicated calls of birds make up the world of bird language. Join naturalist, Grace Gordon, at the Durango Nature Center to learn the meaning behind the various calls and songs of the birds. After investigating the bird language heard, participants will learn how to create a map of animal activity at the Nature Center based on those calls. (It is recommended but not required that you participate in session 1, 2, and 3.)
(Please note, this workshop is not focused on bird-song identification, instead, the focus will be on bird-song meaning.)
