Hosted by Over the Hill Outfitters, the workshop is five days with nationally acclaimed photographer Christopher Marona, four of which are spent on horseback in the majestic Weminuche Wilderness. The workshop begins the morning of July 8 and continues through the week till the evening of July 12.

This is a rare opportunity for visitors and locals alike to experience Colorado's best views and have at their side a professional photographer to individually help each participant capture amazing photographs.

Transportation will be provided from the ranch to the trailhead. The camp cook will prepare elaborate breakfasts and delicious dinners. We'll pack a lunch to enjoy in a beautiful picnic spot. Everyone gets there own tent, unless they want to share with friends or family.

Photographer will shoot landscapes, waterfalls, alpine wildflowers, camp scenes, portraits, cowboys, cowgirls and, of course, horses. In each case, Christopher will share tips, techniques, composition guidelines and exposure readings. The workshop is for all level of photographers from just got a new camera to seasoned pro. Several of the photographs captured during this workshop have appeared in Western Horseman magazine and their calendar.

No need to worry about being an expert rider either. The outfitters have well trained, gentle horses that will take care of the most novice of riders.

This workshop offers a chance for photographers to see and photograph the spectacular San Juan mountains from vantage points the few other people will ever hope to see. The trip is limited to 8 participants.
