The Vallecito Nordic Club grooms over nine miles of trails for all abilities throughout the winter in a beautiful location.
The Durango Nordic Center, across the street from Purgatory Resort, offers over 15 miles of groomed trails, rentals, and picturesque views of the San Juan Mountains.
For a shorter adventure closer to town, the Hillcrest golf course offers groomed nordic trails when Durango is especially snowy.
For something a little more rugged, La Plata Canyon is a local favorite with 10 miles of gorgeous canyon and mountain views that end at Kennebec Pass.
