Inclusive Tourism Program

Thank you for your interested in Visit Durango’s Inclusive Tourism Program. This program exists to further Durango as an inclusive destination for our community and visitors. We aim to help promote systemic change within La Plata County and improve visitors' experience and residents’ quality of life.

Our Mission:

Visit Durango is excited to partner with local organizations and community members to form the Inclusive Tourism Program. Our goals for this program include providing resources for all visitors traveling to Durango while offering training, education, and outreach opportunities to our local stakeholders and their employees. We value building a community and destination that is inclusive, accessible, and welcoming to all.
