The Rocky Mountain UkeFest is held annually the weekend after July 4 and is set in the beautiful mountains of southwest Colorado and historic town of Durango, Colorado. Ukulele enthusiasts have an opportunity to enhance their ukulele skills through a series of workshops for all levels of playing ability and enjoy concerts from world class musicians throughout the weekend. Past musicians have included Daniel Ward, Heidi Swedberg, Jason Arimoto, Gerald Ross, Peter Luongo, Danielle Ate the Sandwich, Sarah Maisel, Craig Chee, Victoria Vox and Kevin Carroll.
Workshops and concerts are presented at venues throughout the Durango area including Fort Lewis College, Durango Arts Center, Rochester Hotel Secret Garden, Animas City Theatre and the Henry Strater Theatre.
