Apple Orchard Inn

The Apple Orchard Inn was purpose-built and established as a Bed & Breakfast in 1993, and it has been in continuous operation for more than 30 years. The Apple Orchard Inn is in the beautiful Animas Valley, about 8 miles north of Durango, Colorado. It offers its guests breathtaking mountain views and fall colors, award-winning gardens, and landscapes featuring flowing brooks, footbridges, several ponds, and a vintage orchard. The Apple Orchard Inn is your sanctuary near everything the Four Corners region offers, only 15-20 minutes from downtown Durango or the Purgatory Ski Resort and just minutes from the Durango Hot Springs Resort & Spa. The property includes six nicely appointed private cottages around the back courtyard and four rooms upstairs in the main house. All cottages and rooms include private bathrooms, wireless internet, flat-screen TVs, cozy radiant heat, and air conditioning. The kitchen opens each morning from 7:30 to 9:30 for a fresh home-cooked breakfast served by your friendly host in the main dining room or the back patio (weather permitting). Homemade fruit pies are available for purchase by the slice or whole pie, baked or frozen for take-n-bake. Breakfast is also available to non-guests by reservation. Our charming accommodation offers six private cottages situated around the serene back courtyard, each featuring a front covered porch and some boast private back patios. Designed for comfort and privacy, these cottages come with their own bathrooms, equipped with either a walk-in shower or a combination shower/tub. While ideal for couples, with nightly rates set per couple, some cottages can accommodate up to four adults and children, making them perfect for families. We welcome children of all ages and up to two well-behaved pets for an additional fee. Additionally, our main house features four private rooms located upstairs, each thoughtfully appointed with a private bathroom that includes a combination shower/tub and vanity sinks. These rooms, priced nightly per couple, can sleep up to four adults. However, to ensure a tranquil and safe environment, we do not allow pets or children under the age of 8 in these upstairs rooms.
