Durango's weekly Farmers Market is located in the heart of downtown Durango, and features some of the best local produce, meats, cheeses, and more.
The Durango Farmers Market is a vibrant venue for local agriculturalists, ranchers and artisans to share their harvests and talents with the Durango community and visitors.
The Farmers Market is held every Saturday morning from mid-May through the end of October, from 8:00 am to noon (9:00 to noon in October), in the parking lot of TBK Bank of Durango at 259 W 9th Street. There is plenty of free parking in the Transit Center lot on 8th Street. All the details can be found at durangofarmersmarket.com and on Facebook @durangofarmersmarket.
Our market always offers ready-to-enjoy treats, meals and drinks, fantastic local musicians, and a family friendly atmosphere, allowing customers to enjoy their morning in relaxation.
Our vendors must grow, gather, or produce their products within the surrounding five county region of La Plata, Montezuma, Archuleta, Colorado San Juan and New Mexico San Juan. This ensures that products are fresh, high quality and locally produced.
At the Durango Farmers Market you have the opportunity to meet face to face with the producers and learn more about their growing methods. Producers post their farming practices at their booth. The majority of producers follow organic growing methods.
The Durango Farmers Market participates in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) as well as Colorado Double Up Food Bucks and strives to provide outreach to assist in making healthy foods available to everyone in our community.
