Quality not quantity. We only operate one fully guided base camp per hunting season. MHCO is a Colorado outfitter providing elk hunting, deer hunting, and archery hunting. Our permitted hunting area is a roadless area of the San Juan National Forest in southwest Colorado. Our owner and operators—Chad and Heather McKee—are part of a family of homesteaders who has lived in Bayfield, CO since the late 1800s. They raise crops and Angus cattle on their property, and when they're not wrangling or farming, you can find them working on the hunt. They celebrate and respect the land and pride themselves on offering the best possible guided hunting experience in Colorado. For the past 15 years, they've created amazing memories for hunters new and old. Chad and Heather believe it's not all about the hunt; it's also about the experience, the beauty of the land, and the friendships that are made. That being said, they will do everything within their power to help you successfully hunt the deer or elk of your choice!
