3. Explore the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum to learn about the history of the railroad in Durango. With early planning, your group can tour the railyards and learn about the innerworkings of the train.

Durango Hot Springs Resort and Spa

The historic Durango Hot Springs Resort and Spa's event spaces combine health and wellness with a scenic backdrop to create the perfect venue for a wide range of gatherings, including corporate meetings and group events.

Over five outdoor event spaces are now available, providing an ideal backdrop for getaways, corporate meetings, weddings, and group events. Guests can choose from intimate hot spring mineral pools to spacious areas with a private cold plunge and fire pit. Catering is also available.

Private event spaces:

Piedra
Designed for gatherings, Piedra is ideal for elegant dinners, wedding vows, or corporate team building activities and presentations. The Piedra mineral hot springs pool comfortably fits 10 or more guests. The space also includes four tables and chairs, a fire pit and plenty of room to relax and unwind.

Purgatory
The Purgatory cold plunge and hot springs pool combo gives groups the ability to experience contrast therapy, or going from cold to hot, in privacy. Located next to Piedra, Purgatory can be an add-on for the Piedra event space.

Florida
This mountainside mineral pool sits below Ponderosa pine trees and affords views of the entire property and mountains beyond. One of the largest pools, Florida can comfortably accommodate 15 people, making it ideal for groups who want to soak, relax poolside, and enjoy the views.

Haviland
For small to medium parties, Haviland provides the perfect mixture of in-the-pool space and out-of-the pool space. Comfortably accommodating six people, the Haviland pool features views of the valley and surrounding mountains.

Electra
Electra caters to smaller groups seeking solitude. The Electra mineral hot springs pool comfortably fits six people, making it the perfect size for families, bachelor or bachelorette parties, intimate birthday celebrations, or small executive gatherings.

Spa Party
Make an event a full-fledged wellness getaway with massages, body treatments, and facials at the Durango Hot Springs Spa. From bachelorette parties to birthdays and couples retreats, there’s no better way to relax.
